Apitura® Innovation is a UK-based company focused on ecological monitoring and the responsible management of invasive species, with a strong commitment to sustainable beekeeping.
Founded by experienced beekeepers and environmental specialists, we combine hands-on field expertise with scientific insight to tackle some of the most urgent challenges facing apiculture today.
Our mission is simple but vital: to protect pollinators, support resilient ecosystems, and provide those on the frontline with practical, effective tools to manage the growing threat of invasive species, particularly the Yellow-legged Asian hornet (Vespa velutina).
At the heart of Apitura’s offering is a carefully developed suite of complementary products: the TRAP-X® Yellow-legged Asian hornet trap, the Bait Pod™ bycatch friendly insect lure container, and VespaLure® wasp and Yellow-legged Asian hornet lure. Each product is built on rigorous research and proven through extensive real-world testing, including critical fieldwork in Jersey, one of the regions hardest hit by Asian hornet activity.
